The calendar says it’s almost summer, but the heat in Texas says summer is already here! Time to find a shady spot and curl up with a good book. Or maybe inside by the air conditioner. Perhaps you like to go to the beach or the lake to read.
Personally, I’m voting for the air conditioned house and a comfy couch. Where is your favorite place to read in the summer?

Born and raised in tropical country, summer – or more precisely, heat – is an all year condition here. Even during rainy season, sometimes it felt stifling because of the heat. More reason to stay in door and cuddle up with book, I say! 😉

I love to read on my bed usually my bed is against the wall which I love to curl up in the corner of the wall and bed with a nice fluffy pillow in between me and the wall to prop my back on and I just read my email is misky90501 at yahoo dot com

Well, I live in tropical country, which pretty much every day is as hot as summer I think *LOL*. So the best place to read will be in my room, with AC on.

I live in the tropics, so anywhere cool is my favorite reading spot during summer. It doesn’t even have to be that comfortable, lol. Bedroom, with A/C on, is my default go-to, I guess.

COOL blog, MY favorite place to read is in my BIG old clawfoot bathtub. Nothing suits like a good book & a hot, steamy soak (and a screwdriver drink;) )

Nowhere better than in my comfy bed! But always near the nightstand, so there’s always something to snack on or drink! I love reading while drinking coffee.

I much prefer to be under the A/C during the summer…but if the weather is mild, I love to sit outside under a tree to enjoy the fresh air (but not have glare on the book, lol). Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite reading spot is in my swing outside under the tree (shade of course). Currently my swing is torn (accident by neighbor) so now I have to replace it. Trying to decide if I want another swing or something different. Decisions, decisions…. 🙂 just needs to be comfy 🙂

We’ve been on vacation for almost 10 days and as nice as it’s been, I’m ready to be home. None of us are beach people as we’re faired skin but we’ve been to the beach twice…once in Florida and now in North Carolina. It’s been nice but I prefer to read in my house either outside on the patio or inside on the couch with my dog (who I miss terribly)!

I have a very large comfy club chair in the corner of my bedroom where I love to read. Some people have a breakfast nook, but I have a reading nook. Other than my room, I read outside on my back yard patio when I drink a couple of cups of coffee in the early morning before it is too hot.
