Welcome To My New Website! #celebration #rafflecopter #giftcards
Thanks for stopping by to join in for my five-day-long celebration! (August 8- 12) At last, at last, I have a new website and even more importantly, after hanging around in blog limbo for the last few years, I HAVE A BLOG AGAIN! Woot!
All the thanks and credit goes to Memphis McKay and Jennifer L. Oliver, two super-fantabulous ladies who are positively sensational to work with, as well as being creative geniuses. In addition to designing websites, Jennifer is an author and runs a virtual assistant business: Sidekick Jenn-Author Assistant. Whereas Memphis McKay is the parent company of Pen + Pixel, which is an author website design business these two gifted entrepreneurs are in the process of launching. Pen + Pixel is advertised as: Author Sites, Done Right. I can tell you that they absolutely did the “author site, done right” for me!
I mean, look around, isn’t the website great? Blues and grays are my favorite colors. And they also managed to incorporate my picture; yes, those are my hands (excuse the wrinkles, but these old hands have been through a lot) and my old computer before it died. That picture has a very special meaning to me, and I am SO HAPPY they were able to use it for my website!
Now for the fun part! To celebrate my new Diana Layne website launch, I am running a rafflecopter. This is my first attempt at a rafflecopter and I hope I’m doing it right! Me and technology aren’t always besties, y’know?
First prize will be a Kindle Fire along with a $25 Amazon Gift Card. While it’s true, this is the least expensive Kindle Fire, I have one myself and it is a powerhouse little tablet. I have a 10 inch, too, that was showing signs of dying and I snagged one of these in a Valentine’s Day deal I think. And I love it! It has Amazon Underground apps where you can get lots of cool apps for free, and I use it to read and watch Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. Given it’s so much lighter than my 10 inch, it’s easier for me to read on, too, because it doesn’t hurt my hands to hold it (I have arthritis.) So anyway, I love this little Fire and I hope if you win it, that you will love it, too.
Second prize is a $25 Amazon gift card and I am offering (3) third prizes, $10 Amazon gift cards.
You’ll notice most of the tasks on the rafflecopter are for following me; yes, I’m such a narcissist, lol. No, seriously, my goal is to have a way to let you know when I release a new book or when I run sales on my current books. (And if you already have my current releases, you can always tell your friends, getting the word out is VITAL for any author!)

I’m up in the early AM and I’m trying to add Trust No One to my Kindle, but Amazon says it’s only free to Kindle Unlimited users and is showing a purchase price of $3.49. What gives? Am I trying to access the freebie a little too early? Try again after 8AM maybe?

Yes, likely too early! It’s me and that technology thing again! I tried to schedule this blog to post later and the books to go FREE and 99 cents earlier but it didn’t work for some reason. No idea what I did wrong, sorry! I’m showing that Trust No One is free now and the 99 cent books are 99 cents in the UK but not in the USA yet. My Amazon dashboard is showing it’s in progress so maybe they will catch up to us soon!
